The Judging Process
The Motor Trader Industry Awards has a highly experienced panel of judges chosen for their independence and expertise in motor retailing. Judges include the Motor Ombudsman, trade body representatives, business journalists, some with decades of experience in the motor trade. Experienced suppliers are also represented.
Retail Categories
Entrants are asked to submit responses to entry questions and a range of supporting material that should be tailored to the criteria for each category.
Judges will review each entry, scoring every nomination on their own, individual merit against the category criteria.
Our judging panel will then meet to discuss their findings and scores, awarding the finalists and winners for 2024!
Supplier Categories
All suppliers need to do is tell us in no more than 750 words what product/s or service/s they have introduced that have boosted the bottom lines of franchised dealers and helped to improve processes and efficiencies. Suppliers can also provide a range of supporting material tailored to the criteria.
Judges will review each written submission with any supporting material, and judge them against the category criteria, scoring them on their individual merit. The judging panel will then meet to discuss their findings and scores, and decide the outright winner and, where appropriate, the highly commended candidates!
