We really enjoy these events. They give us an opportunity to say thank you and a big well-done to the dealers who have truly stood out from the crowd.

We need these awards in our industry because they show pride in the hard work our dealers put in. They work incredibly hard, and they deserve to be recognised for everything they do.

Honestly, being a family-run business and sitting alongside some really huge, well-known names is incredible. I’ve had people come up to me tonight, people who are really important and it’s just great. It feels really, really nice.

You can really see how proud people are when they go up to collect an award, the anticipation, the excitement of winning. And even if you don’t win, just taking part is valuable. I always feel we come away learning something new about the industry. We hear the success stories, and the next day we’re straight on the internet looking at other businesses, seeing what they do well, and figuring out how we can bring some of those ideas into our own.

It’s great to be able to stand in front of our staff and give them recognition for what they’ve achieved. It makes them feel proud of where they work and adds so much to what they do. I’m absolutely delighted—it means a great deal.

It gives us the opportunity to sit down, mingle with people, and build relationships and those relationships help create real synergies for the company. It breaks the ice, lets them ask us questions and us ask them questions, and most of the time we discover we’re a great natural fit for each other.

Absolutely unbelievable - I’m speechless. To win one award is an honour and a privilege, but to win three is incredible. I’m very proud, and I know the business owners back home will be absolutely delighted.

I think for the independents and for a couple of the guys from Scotland who travelled all the way down to collect an award, you can really see how much it means to them. It’s definitely something special. They really appreciate being recognised, and from a sales point of view, having that award in their showroom or workplace is a great asset. It shows their customers just how good they are.
